Tullisaari Manor Park
Historic manor houses and villas provide historical depth to Helsinki’s urban image. If Tullisaari Manor Park could talk, it would have countless tales to recount about important Finns who spent time there. This originally private park in the northern part of the Laajasalo district has gone through many changes, from its heyday in the early years through a long period of dilapidation to its current revival. Considered the “Monrepos of Helsinki” (Monrepos is a famous park in Vyborg, Russia), this park is nevertheless little known to many residents of Helsinki.
