Situated on the west side of the canal, Jaalanranta Park was completed in 1997. The park marks the end of the waterfront park along the canal. Surrounded by elm trees, the park also has a garden in the centre with flowering plants.
The plants include various stonecrops, which provide beautiful autumnal colours. The flowerbeds can also be admired from the surrounding apartment buildings. Columnar junipers grow among the yews. A single white willow grows in the adjacent square. The design of the surrounding paving stones reflects the maritime nature of the area.
