Seal Hunter Field is the concrete deck structure of a parking garage built by housing companies, located between Birgittalaiskatu and Piritankatu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The field has three square areas: a playground with a fun climbing frame and a few spring animals on a colorful safety surface, a mound planted with coniferous shrubs and perennials, and a sports field with artificial turf. Next to the conifer garden and the sports field, there are wooden, dock-like seating areas that can also be used as performance platforms. In reality, these are covers for maintenance spaces, beneath which are technical facilities for Helsinki Water that require occasional servicing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next to the playground, there are benches. The area is bordered with shrub plantings. The park functions both as an activity park and as a viewing park from the residential floors. The field is surrounded by pedestrian paths paved with concrete slabs. Planting beds for small trees (such as sea buckthorn) have been built into the walls of the parking facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
