The Töölö district has large and diverse parks that are popular among residents and tourists alike. Their designs range from formal gardens to natural seaside landscapes. One of the parks in Töölö is also one of the most popular tourist attractions in Helsinki thanks to its unique monument to a legendary Finnish composer.
Töölö was developed into what it is today from the 1910s onwards. The district is home to around 30,000 residents.
